What to Expect with Shipping Eggs

Eggs will be shipped ASAP (dependent on receipt of form 9-3) via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping cost is based on location.

We are not responsible for delayed shipping times or lost packages. Be mindful of your local temperatures and do not purchase if below freezing.

NPIP: 63-1514. Your copy of the NPIP VS form 9-3 will be included in the hatching egg box for your records. We will file a copy with the state. Shipment timing is dependent on how quickly we receive form 9-3 from our state.

NPIP requires your FIRST and LAST NAME, FULL ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, and EMAIL ADDRESS so make sure they’re included in your order.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE HATCH RATE OF THE EGGS YOU WILL RECEIVE!

Shipping can be hard on eggs with temperature changes and jostling. Picking up eggs locally is your best option but can still result in a less than perfect hatch rate. With pickup or shipping, your hatch rate can be 0 to 100%. If you’re not comfortable with this risk then we suggest sourcing chicks instead of eggs. Do not purchase hatching eggs.

We also cannot control the conditions under which you incubate your eggs, the quality of your incubator, or unforeseen changes in mating and egg laying of our chickens. If you are not comfortable with this risk, then do not purchase hatching eggs.

Once eggs leave our premises, we are not responsible for them and cannot control their care and management thus no refunds will be granted.

No refunds will be given for chicks not adhering specifically to breed standards. As in any breeding program, culling to breed standard is a must.

Do not buy hatching eggs if you’re not comfortable with having roosters. There is no way to guarantee how many hens and roosters you may hatch. You could have 0% to 100%, or anywhere in-between, of your chicks be roosters.

If you place an order for hatching eggs and then cancel, a 10% cancellation fee will be withheld from your refund.

Once hatching eggs are shipped, an order cannot be canceled and no refund will be given for issues due to shipping. Once eggs leave our possession, we are no longer responsible for their care.
